Most Interesting Insights from Microsoft Build 2023
Share

Hey Everyone,

I have a feud in my head with Microsoft in recent times, but that isn’t to say that Microsoft’s reckoning in no-code isn’t significant. In fact, with RPA and No-code, Microsoft appears to be one of the big winners.

Microsoft Build is an event designed for developers – showcasing tools and services that developers can use now and with an eye toward the future. With AI dominating the conversation in the technology space, it only makes sense that it plays a key role in this year’s event. (May 23rd to 25th, 2023)

1. Windows Copilot

First-of-its-kind operating with native AI capabilities that will put the applications of AI in the hands of the masses!

2. Bing as ChatGPT Plugin

With Bing plugin, ChatGPT will have access to built-in search engine to provide timelier and more up-to-date answers from the web.

3. Microsoft Fabric

An end-to-end, unified analytics platform that brings together all the data and analytics tools that organizations need. Fabric integrates technologies like Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics, and Power BI into a single unified product!!

It’s actually Microsoft Fabric that is among the more interesting things here. More on this later!

4. Copilot in Power Pages

Generate text, build detailed forms and chatbots—all in a matter of minutes. Leverage the power of natural language input and intelligent suggestions for unmatched efficiency!!

So GPT-4 yes will enable you to make an app or a web page tailored to your needs in minutes.

5. Windows Terminal meets AI

Users of GitHub Copilot will be able to take advantage of natural language AI both inline and in an experimental chat experience to recommend commands, explain errors and take actions within the Terminal application.

Watch the KeyNote

Microsoft says that it will build all its Copilot and Bing Chat plug-ins with the same standard that OpenAI uses for ChatGPT. It’s clear here Microsoft is a bit jealous of what ChatGPT will become and how OpenAI will eventually split from it once it pays back its mighty funding forward.
