Hey Everyone,
Finally I managed to pull off another podcast, or at least to the best of my ability. This is like any podcast, is meant to be listened to, not watched.
TimeXtender is a no-code ETL and Data Estate Builder. I’m a fan of the culture of this growing company. They refer to themselves as a “holistic, metadata-driven solution for data integration. TimeXtender provides all the features you need to build a future-proof infrastructure for ingesting, transforming, modeling, and delivering clean, reliable data in the fastest, most efficient way possible.”
I’ve always wanted to interview their CEO Heine. I wanted to better understand his no-code tool, how Data Governance is evolving in the space and how they adapted to remote work and the pandemic.
The interview is revealing also on the data engineering space as a whole and the future of data science. I will receive compensation for this interview and a related campaign, though I’m not a natural podcast interviewer, I wanted to ask him questions around how A.I. is also beginning to impact the space.
In the interview he also gives some helpful hints to builders in the data engineering, data science and A.I. space.
I’m grateful to have been able to interview him. The last time I talked to TimeXtender I covered a topic that I’ve been thinking about again recently the “Machine Economy”.
Heine calls his employees at TimeXTender “Xpeople” and I find that refreshing somehow. Hey says on his LinkedIn page that he’s leading the greatest team of Xpeople to empower the world with data, mind and heart.
As more companies need no-code solutions that anyone can use, I’m curious also on the impact of the space in data science, data engineering and how the modern data stack is evolving. I thought Heine would be the perfect person to talk to, in order to better understand it.
